The Wii is a compelling gaming console, but maybe the most shocking portion of this brand new gaming system is that it in reality can’t compete with Microsoft’s Xbox 360 or Sony’s PlayStation 3 in terms of unprocessed computing potential or graphical capabilities. Nintendo Wii Console clearly made a conscious preference to initiate a unit that, while impressive, is not planned to set the gaming world on fire with its power. Indeed, the company went after the gaming market with a plan to create an ample, reasonably priced, yet paradigm-creating console that incorporated existing knowledge in ways that would make it alluring to gamers and families alike
