I love to travel and collect pottery. Pottery is one of the world’s oldest art forms. I love pottery ceramics, and my shelves are filled with pieces that I’ve purchased all around the world. My favored finds, the ones I utilize every day, are from the small town of Boleslawiec in the Silesian region of southwestern Poland, where the history of this craft is long. The stoneware dates back to the 1800’s when farmers of the area developed designs based on the “eyespot” pattern of the peacock feather. Besides enjoying the beauty of my stoneware mixing bowls, apple bakers, stoneware plates, and pottery coffee mugs with their variety of patterns, I use my pottery dishware every day and my family loves this attractive stoneware. As an extremely durable dinnerware, it will not break or chip easily.
