So, let’s look at what kinds of baby bedding and other decor items are safe to use in your baby’s crib and around his nursery. Baby bedding which is too much fluffy may be problematic for the babies as they are not able to push away the unwanted things from their way as easily as the adults can. Using a fluffy blanket when a baby is sleeping may cause suffocation.

This doesn’t mean you can’t use that fluffy blanket you received as a gift, just make sure you are nearby to keep an eye on what goes into your child’s mouth. For the most part, baby bedding should be as flat as the average sheet. Fluffy bedding should never be used unless you are right there holding the baby. Bedding that is used in the crib with the baby can be soft, but not fluffy, for safety.
