Over the coming years the way people read books will change drastically. The reason is Apple’s Ipad and other ebook readers that show up in the market. No longer will people have to go to a local bookstore and buy books. There is also no need to carry heavy books with you if you own an Ipad. All one has to do is go online and download their favorite iBooks from the Ibookstore to their Ipad or any other ebook reader. Soon after the release of Ipad back in April 2010 the number of iBook Downloads has increased drastically. This trend will definitely continue. Of course the local bookstore has its own charme. Get some coffee, read magazines and look at the newest books. Because of this there will always be bookstores offering regular books. Nevertheless they will have ot change their business model. Soon there will be an iBook corner in every bookstore, no doubt about that. Regular bookstores will always carry regular books, because there will always be people who love to hold a book in their hands. But as stated before: they will have to offer ibooks for tech minded people as well.Bookstores need to find a way to compete with Apple’s iBookstore in some way. This is a fact.
