Being the penny pincher that I am, I definitely try to do my homework before I buy something. Regardless of whether it is a big money purchase or a little money purchase I think it is important to take a look at all the choices out there and find the best deal. I happen to know that when you go to buy a new car, that you do not actually have to look for a brand new car to get the best deal. My last car I went with a Used Saab that was only one year old and I saved a lot of money and it still had the new car smell.
