Barefoot running is something that is broadly recommended as an option to the usage of running shoes. Many different statements are made pertaining to the benefits of running without having footwear, not one of which are usually supported by the data. There are actually pitfalls regarding barefoot running including hitting over a rough entity. Presently there also seems to be an increasing prevlance of injuries, in particular stress fractures within those that exercise without footwear.
