If you’ve been recently ditched by your girlfriend, you’re probably feeling awful right now. You’re not eating, you’re not sleeping because you’re too anxious from thinking about her, and you can’t pay attention to things because you’re constantly trying to think out how you could have fixed the relationship and where it went wrong. Am I on target here?
Here’s the thing, I get this because I’ve been there myself. I empathize with where you are coming from, and I know that all you want is to find out how to get back with your ex girlfriend. You still love her, and you have to have her back, and its eating away at you. So what is the best way to get started?
1. Don’t call her. You’re probably not in a reasonable head space to talk to her without saying something dumb due to errant emotions, and crying like a child or pleading her to come back is not going to help her see you as a suitable life partner. Desperation is not a good look for anybody. The other good aspect about this is that she will start to remember all the ways that you were there for her when you were in a relationship, and that no one understands her the way that you do.
2. Maintain the sort of life that she would desire to be a part of. If you huddle in your basement and mope, you’ll look pathetic. At the other end of the spectrum, if you go out and start picking up randoms, she’ll think you’re a jerk and be happy that she’s done with you. Instead, go out with your friends, have fun, flirt a bit, and just generally be the kind of guy that women like. The idea is that she should wonder why you’re not spending all of your time crying over her, and realize that she doesn’t want anybody else making a move on you before she gets you back.
